1. Carron Paris Mon Jules Footed Vase

Crafted in Carron’s French workshop, the Mon Jules ceramic vase is not merely a vessel for flowers but a multifunctional piece of art. Its embossed face adds a touch of whimsy, while the milky-white enameled terracotta clay exudes a timeless elegance. The handmade nature of this vase ensures that each piece is unique, capturing the artisanal spirit that Francophiles deeply appreciate. Whether used for holding a bouquet (I recommend opting for size M), serving as a dessert dish, or simply as a decorative object, the Mon Jules vase is a versatile and durable gift that effortlessly elevates everyday living.

The Trudon Gabriel scented candle will make an exceptional gift for any Francophile. Manufactured in Normandy, France, the candle is a product of unparalleled expertise inherited from generations of master candle makers. I absolutely love the scent! It evokes the warmth and coziness of a winter afternoon, featuring head notes of birch wood and glacé chestnut, heart notes of cashmere wood and moss, and base notes of cedarwood, musk, and patchouli. This aromatic blend creates an ambiance of comfort and sophistication.

The Diptyque Set of 5 Eaux de Toilette would make an unparalleled gift for any Francophile. Crafted by the renowned Parisian perfumer Diptyque, this discovery set features five of the brand’s bestselling fragrances. From the sensual allure of Do Son’s tuberose to the multifaceted aroma of the bitter orange tree in Eau des Sens, the set is a symphony of floral and woody notes. Philosykos pays homage to the entire fig tree, while L’Ombre dans L’Eau evokes a poetic, nature-filled moment with its blend of rose, blackcurrant buds, and petitgrain. Lastly, Eau Rose celebrates the ever-changing scents of a rose throughout its life cycle.

The illustration captures the garden’s iconic elements—small boats, ducks, and hot-air balloons—in vivid watercolor. Crafted on 100% pure rag handmade dominoté paper in a Parisian workshop, the panel evokes the quality and spirit of 18th-century engravings.

  • I did a mental check list of what I actually have off this list as I read through it and it cheered me up no end to realise I have more than half of these things and should appreciate and value what I have rather than concentrating on what I have not got! I feel very French today (I’m British).
