Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024, which ran from February 26 to March 5, featured two standout events. Nicolas Ghesquière celebrated a decade of creative leadership at Louis Vuitton, showcasing a collection that paid homage to his iconic designs. Meanwhile, Chemena Kamali, with her rich background from working with Phoebe Philo and Clare Waight Keller, made her debut at Chloé. Her romantic collection for the season has been acclaimed for revitalizing the brand’s legacy, marking a significant moment in this year’s Fashion Week.
Yet, in my view, the heart of Paris Fashion Week lies not solely in its runways but in the vibrant streets of Paris themselves. It is here, among the cobblestones and les terrasses des cafés, that fashion finds its truest expression. This season, after poring over countless street-style photographs from Paris Fashion Week FW24, I have curated a selection of ten standout looks that not only caught my eye but promised to inspire anyone looking to infuse their wardrobe with a touch of Parisian chic.
This season’s street style speaks to a blend of comfort and sophistication, pointing to trends that favor longevity and versatility. You can look forward to embracing long skirts paired effortlessly with boots, timeless leather jackets, wide-leg jeans that breathe a sense of casual elegance, oversized trenches that command presence, and, of course, the understated charm of flat shoes – think ballet flats and loafers that promise both style and ease. Très chic!

1. White Tweed Jacket & Ballet Flats
I absolutely adore this outfit! This spring, I’m all about white or cream tweed jackets. If you’re looking for the perfect one, I recommend the gorgeous Sandro tweed jacket, the beautiful Rosaé Paris Le Pépin chasseur jacket (which is on my wishlist), or the J.Crew tweed lady jacket in natural. Complete the look with classic straight-leg jeans and ballet flats.
2. Leather Jacket, ’90s Jeans & Loafers
This look is the epitome of chic! To achieve this style, combine the stunning Anine Bing Cara jacket with ’90s-inspired jeans, such as the Agolde 90’s mid-rise straight jeans, and finish with a pair of classic loafers. I’ve personally fallen in love with my Tod’s Gomma Pesante loafers, which I bought a few years back and have worn tirelessly ever since.
3. Tweed Dress & Boots
Tweed is making a strong comeback this season! If you’re on the lookout for the perfect dress, check out this gorgeous Sandro tweed dress, which also comes with a matching tweed jacket. Since the dress is short, pairing it with ballerina flats or low-heel slingback pumps would be ideal.
4. Leather Jacket & Denim Ensemble
This Hermès camel leather jacket is absolutely stunning! I adore how the guest here has styled it, draping it effortlessly over a laid-back denim ensemble.
5. Beige Blazer, Denim & Ballet Flats
If you had asked me a few years ago about the ideal blazer color, I would have confidently said navy blue! However, my preferences have gradually shifted towards beige or sand hues. I truly believe that a blazer in beige or sand embodies the essence of chic! It offers a less traditional and softer color palette. For those seeking recommendations this season, I’ve discovered this Max Mara Vanadio blazer and this Blazé Milano double-breasted wool blazer (only a few pieces left!).
6. Oversized Trench & Wide-Leg Jeans
This season, I love this new trench coat silhouette: long and oversized. It feels modern and slightly edgy, moving away from the traditional double-breasted and belted design. The maxi length introduces a contemporary flair that truly makes a statement. For a modern touch, consider a slightly oversized, masculine-inspired trench coat like the Anine Bing Randy Maxi trench, Sézane Clyde trench, or Rosaé Paris Le Saturnin trench.
7. Cropped Leather Jacket & Long Skirt
Long skirts have resurfaced as a trend in recent seasons, presenting a styling challenge that, if not addressed correctly, can inadvertently age you. My key fashion advice is to consistently pair long skirts with high heels, enhancing your silhouette for a more elongated look. Additionally, combining them with a cropped leather jacket like this Anine Bing Cara jacket or the J.Crew leather lady jacket can add a modern touch to your outfit.
8. Polo Shirt, Wide-Leg Jeans & Loafers
I adore Miu Miu’s preppy style, even though I don’t adhere to every trend, such as the no-pants look or the micro skirt showcased in recent Miu Miu fashion shows. This season, it’s all about looking smart through classic polo shirts and wide-leg jeans (I love Massimo Dutti’s wide-leg high-waist jeans) that drape over classic loafers like Tod’s Gomma Pesante loafers.
9. Cream Cropped Blazer
This Dior outfit is absolutely stunning, presenting a refreshing and modern twist on the women’s suit. Echoing this contemporary vibe, Sandro introduces a similar style for this spring/summer, featuring a cropped tweed jacket paired with matching tweed trousers.
10. Camel Leather Jacket & Cream Pants
I’m smitten with this exquisite Hermès camel leather jacket, which pairs perfectly with cream wide-leg pants and two-tone loafers. Have you noticed the stunning Hermès Kelly Sellier en Désordre 20 in gold Epsom leather? For those searching for the ideal tan leather cross-body bag, I highly recommend the beautiful Le Tanneur Emilie small handbag.

Bonjour, Leonce! Do you know any more details about the beige blazer in the photo for #5?
Bonjour Lauren! I think it looks like a Max Mara blazer but I’m not sure at all 🙂
It’s a place to start! Thanks for taking the time to respond!
