The Chloé-Inspired Long Ruffled Dress

From time to time, I’ll share a “Look du Jour” featuring a chic outfit I’ve spotted on the catwalks or in Paris street style that you can easily recreate. Today’s look is one I adore and mentioned in my previous post: the long ruffled dress in silk mousseline from Chloé’s pre-fall 2024 collection. This Chloé dress, available in white and lavender, will be released on the 31st of May. I love the “bohème-chic” (boho-chic) style of this dress, which feels both cool and effortless. I’m attending another wedding in Corsica this summer and am considering purchasing this look for either the ceremony or the soirée afterward.

If you’re like me and love this style, I’ve found a similar look at Massimo Dutti in black: a long cape with ruffles paired with a strappy dress featuring a slit detail. Complete the outfit with high heels, like these gorgeous floral-appliquéd satin mules by Magda Butrym. The floral appliqués echo the romantic style of the ruffled cape. Pair it with classic black pants and chic heeled sandals. Et voilà! A chic look du jour.
