I’m excited to share that I’m moving back to France, to the beautiful city of Bordeaux, at the end of this month! This summer, I’m planning to enhance my new home with a few carefully chosen items: new plates, stylish pot planters, and elegant vases (I dream of having a mini orange or lemon tree in my garden), as well as striped towels or tablecloths, refreshing citron zest-scented soaps, and a new fragrance that evokes the Côte d’Azur.
I created a collage that captures all the things inspiring me lately and that I’m dreaming about: the azure blue (“bleu azur”) of the Mediterranean Sea, the vibrant yellow of Menton lemons (“les citrons de Menton”)—a picturesque town on the French Riviera near the Italian border, and the colorful stripes of the sun umbrellas on the beaches of Nice and Biarritz. I also drew inspiration from the delightful summer perfume Eau de Rochas Citron Soleil, which lent its name to this collage ;). This collage features items on my wishlist alongside some recent favorites. I hope you’ll love it and find it just as inspiring!

- Anthropologie Micola Seafood dessert plates — I fell in love with these dessert plates! Last season, I purchased these Costa Nova dinner plates (handcrafted glazed stoneware), which remind me of Astier de Villatte or Caron Paris ceramics but are more affordable and durable. They will look stunning paired with the Micola plates. I also discovered the Micola Shrimp serving bowl, which is absolutely adorable!
- This summer, I’m on the hunt for beautiful vases and pot planters to enhance my garden. I fell in love with this Traviata Vase in lemon yellow by Les Composantes, which I plan to use for a mini orange tree. Last year, I bought the Traviata lamp with a pink shade, and I can attest to the brand’s excellent quality! I also have this gorgeous set of four towels on my wishlist.
- Roger & Gallet Citron wellbeing soap — I’ve been a fan of Roget & Gallet’s soaps and perfumes since childhood—my grandmother’s bathroom was always filled with them. In France, these products are readily available in pharmacies, and I’m thrilled to be moving back so I can shop for them more easily.
- Once summer heats up, I’m leaning more toward fresh and citrusy perfumes. Since I went back on a trip to Sevilla in Spain, I’ve been all about orange blossoms, neroli, and white flowers. That is why Diptyque’s L’Eau de Néroli has caught my eye, and I’m looking forward to trying this one (if you have tried it, I would love to have your opinion).
- Le Rem by Reminiscence — This has become one of my new favorite summer perfumes! It brings back memories of my summers spent in “le Sud.”
- How cute is this small Diptyque Médicis vase in Mediterranean blue? Made from wax, it can still hold water and summer bouquets. This vase will be a lovely addition to my summer table! Hurry, though—it’s a limited edition!
- While I love burning scented candles in fall and winter, I prefer diffusing essential oils in spring and summer. A few years ago, I bought this Vitruvi Stone Terracotta diffuser, which I adore and use every day. My favorite essential oil blend to diffuse is ylang-ylang, jasmine, and neroli—it’s absolutely divine! You’re welcome ;)!
