Here are 10 chic French winter outfits spotted at Paris haute couture fashion week. On January 23, the Paris haute couture fashion week kicked off with several Maisons such as Dior, Schiaparelli, Giambattista Valli, and Chanel showcasing their couture spring/summer 2023 collections. Beyond the shows themselves, what I love the most during fashion week is looking at what those attending the shows are wearing. And after spending time scrolling through IG, I’ve scouted ten chic French outfits, each of which you can easily re-create for yourselves this winter.
These ensembles feature pieces that are easy to style and could actually be re-created using items that might already be in your wardrobe. Also, if you’re interested in trying something fresh this season, you can shop the inspired picks I’ve added for each outfit. So from monochromatic ensembles of beiges and browns to all-black and denim outfits, keep scrolling to get inspired by these minimalist chic street style looks from Paris haute couture week.

4. Black Wool Coat + Combat Boots
Both of these women look really great! I love how the woman on the right styles her very long oversize coat. I have a preference for the woman on the left who is wearing a gorgeous long wool black coat (like this ) paired with combat boots (I love these ) and a mini Lady Dior bag black ultramatte. Très chic!
5. Bomber Jacket + Jeans
This is a very boyish, androgyne look which I absolutely adore! To re-create this outfit you just need to pair wide-leg jeans with a bomber jacket (see this stunning ) and a cashmere sweater underneath. Add your favorite ankle boots (mine are ) for a very Parisian masculin-féminin look.
6. Herringbone Wool Coat + Leather Pants

8. Long Camel Coat + Brown Wrap
I just adore the way she wears her wrap over her long double-breasted camel coat! Also, these Bordeaux leather gloves add instant sophistication to the look. By the way, if you’re looking for the perfect pair of leather gloves, the French Maison is your go-to brand.
9. Tweed Suit + Knee-High Boots
I love this casual chic outfit which is perfect to wear in the winter season! The classicism of the black and beige tweed suit (which is stunning) is balanced by these more casual knee-high boots. These boots remind me of , which I really adore! These are the kind of silhouette you’ll wear over and over again.
10. All-Black Outfit
This is one of my favorite French winter outfits to wear for a chic dinner or a glamorous soirée. This look is just perfect in its simplicity! To re-create this look pair your favorite black/dark gray midi skirt with a long black double-breasted wool coat (have you seen this fabulous ?). Add a pair of J’Adior slingback pumps or and voilà!
