This week, as I browsed through photos of the latest Spring/Summer 2025 collections presented in Paris, I had a coup de coeur for the makeup on the models at Chanel. It’s a look that strikes the perfect balance between minimalism and sophistication, embodying that effortless chic we all adore so much :).
There’s a certain freshness to the complexion that I find utterly sublime. I especially love the subtle and natural use of a sheer foundation base, beautifully paired with bronzer, highlighter, and blush. The result is a radiant, fresh-faced glow that feels incredibly natural, with makeup that seems almost imperceptible. Lately, I’ve also been drawn to shades of pink, and this look’s delicate touch of dusty rose (“bois de rose”) on the cheeks felt particularly elegant and understated.
It got me thinking—why not try to recreate this makeup? It’s the perfect look to welcome the sunny days of spring. I don’t know if you feel the same, but I’m counting down the days until the season arrives with so much anticipation :)!

1. Le Teint
When it comes to complexion, I love combining, layering, and blending different textures and finishes. However, I always ensure a light touch, using the bare minimum for an almost imperceptible result. Here are some of my favorite products, tips, and recommendations to achieve that fresh, radiant, and natural-looking glow.
One foundation I’ve adored for years is the Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude Oil-Free Foundation. It delivers an ultra-natural, second-skin effect that’s barely noticeable. It’s hydrating yet shine-free, making it perfect for a discreet, polished finish. If you prefer a bit more coverage, I highly recommend Chanel’s Les Beiges Foundation. Its formula is lightweight, hydrating, and protective, but it offers slightly more coverage while still maintaining a natural look.
For concealer, I’ve recently fallen in love with the UnCoverup Concealer by RMS Beauty, and I can’t live without it now! I use shade 11.5, a soft peachy tone that’s ideal for counteracting the bluish hues of dark circles. Don’t be alarmed if the color initially appears quite orange—it neutralizes blue tones beautifully once applied. This concealer is also wonderfully hydrating (perfect for fine lines around the eyes) and melts into the skin for a seamless, natural finish.
To set and perfect the complexion, I’m a big fan of powder. My two favorites are the RMS Hydra Setting Powder (shade: Light) and the Aime Skincare Powder Foundation SPF (shade: Natural). The latter provides more coverage, so I often use it alone as a foundation during the summer.
Finally, for a subtle touch of radiance, apply a lightweight highlighter to the high points of your face: the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and top of the forehead. For a natural finish, opt for a highlighter with a hint of color rather than one that’s too stark or white. My latest obsession is Chanel’s stunning Jeux de Lumière Multi-Use Palette.
2. Les Yeux
For the eyes, I love a subtle black liner to open and define the gaze. I recommend the Stylo Yeux Waterproof in the shade Ébène—a softened black that gives a more understated effect. Add a touch of highlighter to the inner corner of the eye to brighten and bring a hint of radiance. To enhance your eyes further, apply a bit of brown or taupe pencil along the lash line. It adds definition while keeping the look soft and natural. Finish with a swipe of mascara—I highly recommend the Lash Care Tubing Mascara by Aime, which has the added benefit of being incredibly easy to remove with just warm water.
3. Les Joues
For a healthy, radiant glow, I recommend pairing a dusty rose blush with a golden bronzing powder for a beautifully harmonious look. Start by warming up your complexion with a bronzer. My all-time favorite is the iconic Terracotta by Guerlain, which I’ve been loyal to for years. Using a kabuki brush, apply it to the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and top of the forehead to sculpt your face while creating a natural, sun-kissed glow. As for blush, I love both cream and powder formulas. A dusty rose shade works wonderfully—try Joues Contraste Intense by Chanel in the shade Rose Radiant, or the Lip2Cheek by RMS Beauty in the shade Spell, which I recently purchased and absolutely adore!
4. Les Lèvres
For the lips, I love using hydrating lipsticks that sit perfectly between a balm and a traditional lipstick. Some favorites include Rouge Coco Baume, Dior Addict Lip Glow, and Bisou Jelly by Violette_FR. For this makeup look, choose a soft, sheer powdery pink shade that adds just a hint of color without being overdone. You can also match the shade to your RMS Lip2Cheek for a cohesive look. Personally, I’m obsessed with the gorgeous shade Pink Delight from the Rouge Coco Baume Satin line. Et voilà! A fresh, radiant, and natural makeup look that’s quick and easy to achieve :)! À la prochaine mes amies!
