I’ve included looks from which just about anyone can pull inspiration, whether it’s a cardigan paired with pleated trousers, a bomber jacket with a mini skirt, or a lavaliere blouse with tweed wide-leg pants. Chances are you probably already have at least one piece of each outfit in your wardrobe ;). So, this guide can give you new ideas for combining these pieces together and elevating your spring style.
So keep scrolling to see these chic spring looks and shop the inspired picks I’ve added for each outfit.
1. Silk Lavaliere Blouse + Tweed Wide-leg Pants
This is one of my favorite French outfits for spring! I just love the way she’s pairing a silk lavaliere blouse (like Khaite’s Tash pussy-bow silk-chiffon blouse) with a tweed pleated pants (like this gorgeous Gucci’s tweed wide-leg pants) and a wool-blend coat. This look is very well put together!
2. Camel Knitwear + Midi Skirt + Suede Boots
I absolutely adore this outfit! A monochrome outfit is anything but boring when done right! This spring, choose Rosaé’s Le Côme skirt paired with an Anine Bing Sydney sweater in camel. Throw over this gorgeous Totême Signature wool-blend coat and add a pair of Manolo Blahnik Calassohi 90 suede knee boots. Très chic!
3. Bomber Jacket + Mini Skirt + Suede Boots
I love the way she’s wearing her mini-skirt! This is a very chic masculine-feminine look. To re-create this outfit pair a bomber jacket like this Anine Bing Leon bomber with a white t-shirt underneath (I love Sézane’s comfortable Conrad t-shirt). Wear your favorite black mini-skirt with a pair of sheer tights and a pair of black pointed-toe boots like these Isabel Marant Deone suede ankle boots.
4. Suit + Trench Coat
You can never go wrong with a tailored suit in classic shades like black, beige, grey, or navy blue. This spring, I love these Frankie Shop Maesa pleated wide-leg cargo pants with the matching asymmetric woven vest. Throw over a very chic trench coat like this Sézane Scott trench coat.
5. Cardigan + Pleated Wide-leg Pants
I do love this “chic-décontracté” or smart casual look! To re-create Jeanne Damas look just pair a cropped knit cardigan like the Khaite Scarlet cashmere-blend cardigan with black pleated wide-leg trousers like this Loulou Studio Baltrum wool-blend wide-leg pants. Add a pair of pointed-toe slingback pumps (Jeanne is wearing Dior ones) and a wicker basket (I love the Polène Yké textured cognac).
6. Co-ords + White Sneakers
One way to feel instantly put together is to wear a co-ord or matching set! This spring, I have this gorgeous Totême Embroidered silk-twill shirt and Embroidered silk-twill wide-leg pants on my wishlist. Add this super cool pair of Nike Air Force 1 leather sneakers for an smart-casual look.
7. Maxi Tulle Skirt + Cashmere Sweater
This is definitely not an everyday kind of look, but I just adore her beautiful maxi tulle skirt paired with a very relaxed cashmere sweater! This could be a great look for a special occasion or a spring soirée.
8. Denim-on-Denim + Loafers
I just love the mix denim-on-denim with loafers! To re-create this look, pair this gorgeous Sandro oversized denim jacket with rhinestones with Reformation Alyssa high rise wide leg long jeans. In terms of two-tone loafers, opt for these Saint Laurent Le Loafer two-tone patent-leather loafers or these Porte & Paire ones (which are a great and cheaper alternative). I love these Sandro thick-soled leather loafers as well.
9. Leather Jacket + Shorts + Riding Boots
I love the way Leia is wearing her leather jacket with shorts and equestrian-style boots (plus, her Hermès Kelly Casaque Noir/Bleu Indigo is just fabulous!). This spring, wear this Loulou Studio Sulat cropped leather jacket with Sézane’s black Conrad t-shirt underneath. Add your favorite pair of shorts (I love these Sandro shorts with turn-ups), a pair of sheer tights and riding boots like these Legres Model 80 leather knee boots.
10. Blazer + (Faux) Leather Pants
Simple and elegant, I thought very original the way she’s mixing a classic, slightly oversized grey blazer with a kind of faux-leather wide-leg pants (like this Mother pleated faux leather pants) and white pointed-toe pumps. This outfit challenges the very classic “blazer and jeans” look and this is very refreshing!
